The 10085-1 Illuminated Paint Microscope has a magnification ration of 80X and far exceeds the manufacturer requirements of 30X. The Paint microscope is ideal for identifying contamination.
This is a required item for manufacturer approvals so the high magnification and low price makes this microscope both practical and budget friendly.
It does not come with batteries but takes 2 x standard AA batteries which are easily available. Fitting the batteries is as simple as opening a slide off cover, to use the microscope simply open the two tubes until the LED lights up then place the microscope on the area to be inspected, there is a focusing dial on the microscope tube.
